Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Overview

ColorPal is a free color palette and design tool. We respect your privacy and collect minimal data. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Image Processing

Our Image Color Extractor processes images entirely in your browser using the HTML Canvas API. Images are never uploaded to our servers. All color extraction happens client-side and no image data is stored or transmitted.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, and device information. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. No personal information is collected through analytics.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Cookies

ColorPal itself does not set any cookies. However, third-party services we use (Google AdSense, Vercel Analytics) may set cookies for their own purposes. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Data Storage

Color collections and preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
